The Check Writing Partner is primarily a bookkeeping program with check writing and printing for $125.00.

Three different bank accounts can be used to pay bills and you can record any transfer of funds between them so the program can keep your account balances up–to–date.

The bookkeeping features allow you to search for specific checks by check number, check date and provider ID. Recurring bills can be set to be paid weekly, monthly or yearly. You can also compare the previous year’s amount to the current year’s amount for each recurring bill.

The program doesn’t print the MICR line, so we recommend that you buy check stock with pre–printed MICR lines.

There are some minor problems in the user’s manual like leaving out some steps in the how–to section but The Check Writing Partner is easy to explore on your own.

After 60 days you will have to pay for technical support, but if there are any bugs in the program they will probably be worked out before your 60 days are up.
